The SIG SAUER® P220® and P226® Combat Pistols
Exceeding Military Standards for Combat Models
Exeter, NH - SIG SAUER, Inc., the leading manufacturer of commercial, law enforcement, and military firearms has designed the SIG SAUER P220 and P226 Combat Models to meet and exceed rigorous U.S. Military standards. Both models are offered in standard or threaded barrel (TB) configurations. The P220 and P226 Combat and Combat TB models were subjected to an intense military salt spray corrosion test for a duration of over 240 hours, but thanks to the phosphated internal parts, corrosion was virtually non-existent. The Combat TB models’ barrel is hard chromed lined with a Nitron® finish. Both the P220 and P226 Combat and Combat TB models feature the SIG SAUER 4-point safety system, vertical front strap serrations, and an integrated accessory rail for tactical lasers and lights.
