SIG SAUER® Taps Dane Davis As Military Market Manager
SIG SAUER® TAPS DANE DAVIS AS MILITARY MARKET MANAGER EXETER, NH – SIG SAUER, the leading manufacturer of law enforcement and military firearms, and the recipient of numerous law enforcement and federal contracts, adds Dane Davis as their new Military Market Manager. Davis will interact with all Joint Service branches of the United States Military and related Federal agencies managing direct sales and support of an extensive line of SIG SAUER firearms. Additional duties will center on training and IEEE technologies deployed globally with elite expeditionary components. As part of Department of Homeland Security, Davis is the only United States Coast Guard Reserve Weapons Chief Warrant Officer. His 22 years of Maritime Gunnery experience has lead to current assignment as Reserve Ordnance Manager of Coast Guard Atlantic Area Command. Davis has operational oversight for all Coast Guard Ordnance activities ranging globally East from the Rocky Mountains to the Arabian Gulf; spanning an area of responsibility that includes five Coast Guard Districts, 42 states, over 14 million square miles, and serving more than 60,000 military, civilian, and auxiliary employees. Davis is an accomplished administrator, instructor and manager in many areas of public health and safety. He has lead battlefield healthcare support as Government Sales Specialist with ZOLL Medical Corporation, outfitting global military medical operations with state-of-the-art cardiac and trauma equipment. Previously, he served as Deputy Executive Director of Eastern Virginia Emergency Services, leading collaboration of a multi-jurisdictional metropolitan medical response system for counter-terrorism efforts. Davis holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy State University, Bachelor’s of Science in Emergency Systems Management from Hampton University, and an Associate of Science in EMS Technology from Tidewater Community College. Davis maintains certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic with specialization in tactical medicine and serves on various national, regional and state committees supporting public health and safety initiatives.
