SIG SAUER® Targets Hunters with SIGM400™ Predator, Varminter

Legendary reliability now available to sportsmen

EXETER, NH (January 2013) —Varmint and predator hunters can now get the quality and durability of the SIG SAUER® SIGM400™ rifle with two new hunting-specific packages.

The SIGM400 Varminter and Predator are designed for hunters who want the ultimate performance while in the field. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, these accurized rifles feature two-stage Geissele® match triggers, Hogue® rubber grips and free-floating forends.

An extended charging handle latch allows for fast and easy access with optics mounted on the flat-top upper receiver. A built-in tensioning device eliminates accuracy-robbing play between upper and lower receivers. Ambidextrous controls make the SIGM400 series a perfect fit for right- or left-hand shooters.

The SIGM400 Varminter features 22″ match grade heavy barrel. The stainless 1 in 9 twist, six-groove barrel is threaded 1/2x28TPI and capped. The SIGM400 is compatible with most muzzle brakes, compensators and suppressor mounts.
The SIGM400 Predator has an 18″ match grade heavy barrel. The 1 in 8 twist, six-groove barrel is also threaded 1/2x28TPI.
