SIG SAUER® Introduces New P220 Carry
New P220 features shorted slide for greater concealed carry versatility.

EXETER, NH – 2006 marks the year of the SIG SAUER® P220. With a new stainless steel slide replacing the older two-piece carbon steel slide of the original design and two new trigger options, the P220 has undergone major changes. SIG SAUER continues the development of the P220 with the new P220 Carry featuring a shorter slide and 3.9” barrel.

The P220 Carry is available in all three SIG SAUER trigger options: DA/SA, DAK™ and SAO. With its shorter profile and 8+1capacity the P220 makes an ideal large caliber carry pistol.

The P220 Carry slide is machined from stainless steel bar stock and finished in a durable Nitron® finish. The lightweight alloy frame is hard-coat anodized and outfitted with a Picatinny rail for tactical versatility. The P220 Carry comes with either contrast or SIGLITE® night sights and is also available in Two-Tone with a Natural Stainless slide. Optional 10 round magazines are available separately from SIG SAUER.

The P220 Carry is also available in two SIG SAUER Custom Shop versions. The P220 Carry SAS features the radical dehorning of the SIG Anti-Snag™ treatment performed by SIG gunsmiths. Along with the DAK™ trigger and custom wood grips, this ultra smooth 45 is the ideal pistol for off-duty carry or undercover work.

The P220 Carry Equinox™ features custom wood grips, nickel controls, DA/SA trigger, Picatinny rail, two-tone slide with polished flats and a TRUGLO® TFO front and SIGLITE® rear sight combination. The P220 Carry Equinox is an elegant custom pistol and the perfect balance day and night.
