The Revolution Continues:
SIG SAUER® Introduces 7 New Models of Its Revolution™ 1911

EXETER, NH – The revolution continues as SIG SAUER® introduces seven new models of its popular Revolution™ 1911 pistol.

SIG SAUER is expanding its line up of full size 1911s with four new models: Revolution™ XO, Target, TTT and STX.

The XO features a finish designed for rugged use and is available in either XO Black or XO Stainless. The slide is topped by low profile contrast sights and the frame is accented with Ergo Grip™ XT extreme use grips. The XO retails for $859 (XO Stainless) and $889 (XO Black).

The Revolution™ Target features adjustable target night sights, match barrel, custom wood grips, non-railed frame and 20-line per inch checkered mainspring housing with lanyard attachment point. The Target is available in either Stainless or Nitron®. The Target model retails for $1,069 (Stainless) and $1,099 (Nitron®).

The TTT – or Triple T – is a two-tone 1911 with Nitron® slide and black controls. This non-railed pistol is accented by beautiful custom burled maple grips and topped off with adjustable combat night sights. The MSRP for the Triple T is $1,159.

The Revolution™ STX is the second two-tone SIG SAUER introduced at the 2006 SHOT Show. The STX features a magwell, adjustable combat night sights, ambidextrous safety and burled maple grips with the SIG SAUER® logo. The Nitron® slide is polished through the serrations giving it a two-tone accent. The STX retails for $1,299.

Besides the new full size 1911s, SIG SAUER is also introducing a Revolution Carry with 4.25” slide and barrel and two models of the Revolution™ Compact with a 4.25” slide on a short frame.

The Revolution™ Carry is available in either Stainless or Nitron® and comes with Novak® night sights, checkered front strap and mainspring housing with lanyard attachment point and custom wood grips (gray diamondwood on Stainless and rosewood on Nitron®). The 8+1 capacity Carry model retails for $1,039 (Stainless) and $1,069 (Nitron®).

The Revolution Compact is available in two models. The standard Compact comes in either Stainless or Nitron® with Novak® night sights, checkered front strap and checkered mainspring housing and custom wood grips (gray diamondwood on Stainless and rosewood on Nitron®). The Compact retails for $1,049 (Stainless) and $1,069 (Nitron®).

The Compact RCS is produced by the SIG SAUER Custom Shop and features their SIG Anti-Snag radical de-horning process. The RCS comes in either Stainless or Nitron® and is accented by slim profile custom wood grips ideal for concealed carry. The SIG SAUER Custom Shop RCS retails for $1,129 (Stainless) and $1,149 (Nitron®).

Each new model Revolution™ features a stainless steel slide, stainless steel frame with 25-line per inch checkering, match grade barrel, hammer/sear set and trigger. The de-horned slides and frames are machined to exacting tolerances and hand-fitted to insure reliability and performance. SIG SAUER uses only premium internal parts which means no plastic and no MIM parts.
