Team SIG Max Michel Takes High-Overall in Bianchi Cup Celebrity Pro-Am Speed Shoot-Off

Published Date: 6/3/2009

EXETER, NH – SIG SAUER’s Team SIG Champion, Max Michel, competed in the 2009 NRA Bianchi Cup Pro-Am shooting event on Saturday May 23, 2009 and took home the High-Overall score.

In this, his first of this kind of event, Max competed against the industry’s top professional shooters, as well as, celebrity shooters and country music stars Mark Wills and Michael Petersen. Having no experience in the Bianchi Cup Celebrity Pro-Am Shoot did not impede Max’s shooting ability as he easily broke the NRA Speed Shoot-Off Event Record and then went on to break his own new record two more times before completing the event. Max Michel, using his SIG SAUER 1911, knocked down five steel targets of various heights at ten yards, and walked away with the fasted time in Bianchi Cup history of 1.70 seconds.
