Max Michel, Jr. is one of the most dominant pistol shooters in the world today and specializes in carry-optics competition. Max began with SIG in 2009 and has carried the captain title for over 10 years as he sets the standard for SIG SAUER in the competitive shooting industry. His eager for leadership and continuous innovation has always been admirable. Max has used his expertise to help innovate and design a multitude of competition products.
Max began his professional shooting career as a member of the elite U.S. Army. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU) on the action pistol team. Among his accomplishments are a Guinness World Record, IPSC XVII World Champion, seven World Speed Shooting Championships, thirteen USPSA National Championships, seven U.S. Steel National Championships, more than 30 U.S. National Championships in various disciplines and more than 300 other major championship victories.
As an international competitor, Max has represented the United States in the last eight IPSC World Shoots and returned home bearing gold each time.

Now, with 10 World Championship titles across five disciplines, she stands as one of the most decorated action shooters.
Lena has claimed four USPSA Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) National Titles and over 20 PCC Championships, as well as six USPSA Multi-Gun National Titles and over 50 Multi-Gun Championships. In 2023, she launched Rose by Sig Sauer, the most successful Pro Shooter collaboration in the firearm industry’s history. Daniel Horner is widely recognized as the greatest multi-gun and 3-gun shooter in the world. Competing primarily in 3-gun and long-range rifle competitions for Team SIG, Daniel has set the gold standard in competitive shooting. His professional career began as a member of the elite U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit (USAMU), where he quickly rose through the ranks to become the Coach of the USAMU Action Shooting Team.
His dedication and unmatched skill earned him the prestigious title of Military Marksmanship Association Soldier of the Year twice during his service. With an astonishing track record, Daniel has secured over 125 championship titles at the world, national, regional, and state levels. His achievements include 17 Multi-Gun/3-Gun National Championships, 8 Sniper Championships, 2 IDPA National Championships, 1 IPSC Shotgun National Championship, 1 NRA World Shooting Championship, Hundreds of additional national and major title wins.

Mason Lane is the newest member of Team SIG and specializes in iron sighted pistol competition. As a NH native, Mason started his competitive shooting career at the age of 12, shooting his first match here at the SIG SAUER Academy.
As a quick study, Mason gathered the attention of Academy instructors and fell into training and competing on a semi-professional basis shortly after. Today, Mason holds 7 National Titles across various divisions and disciplines as well as dozens of areas and regional titles.
Mason is one of the most division flexible competitors in the country, competing in carry optics, production, limited, and 2-gun competition. Mason began to travel as an instructor in 2019 and is continuing to pursue his passion for teaching at the SIG SAUER Academy.
