There are no two ways about it…It’s a Right Hander’s world. Most firearms have been designed for right-handed shooters. Everything from safety selectors, to bolt handles to magazine releases have typically been placed to accommodate right-handed shooters. But with modern manufacturing techniques, gun makers have been increasingly building firearms either with controls on both sides of the gun or ones that can be easily swapped between right and left. These ambidextrous controls make many more models of guns accessible to left-handed shooters, or for both left and right-handed shooters to use their non-dominate hand. Ambicontrols make for a safer, more enjoyable shooting experience.
