SIG Anti-Snag, or “SAS,” describes specific design features of certain SIG SAUER handgun models that optimize them for concealed carry. SIG Anti-Snag can include some of the following features: an extremely low-profile slide catch lever, a reduced takedown lever, a dehorned slide, and an FT Bullseye sight embedded into the slide. These SAS handguns are built with reduced exterior features to decrease the possibility of snagging on clothing or holsters. No iron sights, no external takedown lever, and no slide catch lever protruding from the frame means a cleaner, smoother draw in self-defense situations.
