Trigger Guard

The trigger guard is the part of a firearm that is usually built into the receiver or grip module protecting the trigger from unwanted contact. Trigger guards are crucial for safety and are curved surfaces extending from the grip area to a point just in front of the trigger. They are typically shaped into the polymer on a polymer-framed handgun or are machined into the metal on steel or alloy-framed handguns and rifles.
