Zero Stop

Zero Stop

A zero stop is a feature of precision rifle scopes allowing shooters to return to the original distance they zeroed their rifle. The zero stop is usually a tensioned fastener that can be loosened so the shooter can set their scope turret to read “zero” at the distance they zeroed their rifle, lock it down with tension, and make adjustments to the optic for follow-up shots based on that benchmark. It allows a user to return to their original zero without having to reshoot to find zero.
