Full Auto

Full Auto

A firearm is said to be full-auto, or “full-auto capable,” when it can fire rounds continuously with a single press of the trigger. For consumers, full-auto-capable firearms are heavily regulated under the National Firearms Act of 1934, requiring a $200 tax and federal stamp for ownership. It is also unlawful for a non-government consumer to possess a full-auto firearm manufactured after 1986.
