Magwell

The magwell is the part of a semi-automatic firearm that houses a removable ammunition magazine. On handguns, the magwell is usually inside the pistol’s grip. On semi-automatic rifles, the magwell is typically part of the lower receiver, located just beneath the bolt and carrier.
