Yes. Traditional top-mount reflex sights are still compatible with our SIG-LOC slides. We simply added features to the slide to also be compatible with our new SIG-LOC optics. Also, SIG-LOC compatible pistol slides come from the factory with a set of removeable recoil lug pins. These pins are not necessary for a SIG-LOC optic, as the SIG-LOC optics contain their own recoil bosses that protrude from the bottom of the housing, and index into the recoil boss holes of a SIG-LOC compatible pistol slide. But these recoil pins can be used to help with alignment of a traditional top-mount optic that contains recoil boss holes in the bottom of the optic housing.

No, SIG-LOC optics mount directly to SIG-LOC compatible slides without any additional plates.

When properly installed, a SIG-LOC optic is mechanically locked to and aligned perfectly with the pistol slide. The optic reticle can be adjusted using the windage and elevation adjustments, to align (co-witness) with standard-height pistol iron sights, but may need further small adjustments at the range, to be perfectly zeroed with your ammo at your preferred target distance.

After verifying the firearm is unloaded, simply remove the pistol slide from the firearm, and use a properly sized Torx driver to remove the 2 optic mounting screws from underneath the slide.

Yes. This is very important for proper and safe installation of the SIG-LOC optics. Apply fresh thread locker to the mounting screw threads, all the way to the tip of the screw (the end opposite of the screw head). If re-installing a SIG-LOC optic after it has been removed from the pistol slide, first clean any residual thread locker from the mounting screw threads and re-apply fresh thread locker to the threads before re-installing the optic. Install the screws using a torque wrench, set to the proper torque value (see ROMEO-X SIG-LOC owner’s manual). After installation, allow the thread locker to cure for 24 hours before shooting the firearm. View the Owners manual HERE
