QD Cup

A QD cup is the socket into which a push button QD is inserted to attach an accessory—typically a sling—to the firearm. Some modern firearms, particularly rifles, are manufactured with QD cups built into them at several points to allow shooters to attach slings and other accessories based on their needs and mission.
