Taper Lok

The term “Taper Lok” refers to a proprietary suppressor attachment method developed by SIG SAUER. The Taper Lok system optimizes alignment, improves accuracy, reduces point of impact shift, and does not require any shims when attaching a suppressor to a rifle. The Taper Lok system is designed into SIG SAUER’s SRD line of quick-detach muzzle brakes and allows shooters to easily swap their suppressor between firearms with enhanced accuracy repeatability and/or use the brake-equipped firearm without a suppressor.
