ROSE Festival Course/Class Descriptions
ROSE P365: Assembly & Disassembly
Monday & Tuesday 9:30am - 11:00am
This hands-on course is designed for shooters who want to build confidence in the proper care and maintenance of their P365 pistol. Students will learn how to safely field strip, clean, inspect, maintain, and reassemble their pistol while gaining a better understanding of its components and function. Through guided instruction, participants will cover proper cleaning techniques, lubrication, wear-point inspection, and function checks following reassembly. By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge and confidence to properly care for their P365 and keep it performing safely and reliably for everyday carry, training, or recreational shooting. Please note this course is free of charge but seating is limited.

This hands-on course is designed for shooters who want to build confidence in the proper care and maintenance of their M400 rifle. Students will learn how to safely field strip, clean, inspect, maintain, and reassemble their rifle while gaining a better understanding of its components and function. Introduction to Trauma Response is a standalone, two-hour course designed exclusively for the ROSE community, empowering women with the knowledge and practical skills to respond confidently in a medical emergency. Built around the SIG SAUER framework — Secure, Intervene, Get Help — the course provides a simple, easy-to-remember approach to making sound decisions under stress. Participants will learn how to recognize an emergency, secure the situation, intervene appropriately, and get the right help when it matters most. The hands-on portion focuses on massive hemorrhage control, giving participants practical experience with one of the most critical lifesaving skills that can be developed to competency in a two-hour session.

This hands-on seminar focuses on practical self-defense skills designed to help women recognize threats, create distance, and safely escape an unwanted encounter. Participants will learn fundamental defensive techniques and movement principles that can be applied in real-world situations.
What You’ll Learn: Practical techniques for responding to and surviving an unwanted encounter. Principles for recognizing opportunities to escape and create distance. Proper footwork and positioning to control distance. Techniques for creating and maintaining space from a larger aggressor using posts and frames. Grip control and strategies for breaking contact. Techniques for responding to strikes and escaping the clinch
Ground-based movement and techniques for safely returning to a standing position, time permitting.

This course is designed for shooters who want to refresh and refine their pistol skills with a red dot optic, as well as newer red dot users looking to build a strong foundation. Students will focus on proper optic setup, presentation, dot acquisition, sight tracking, and marksmanship fundamentals. Through structured drills and guided range exercises, participants will develop the skills needed to improve speed, accuracy, and confidence while maximizing the advantages of a pistol-mounted red dot sight.
ROSE Rifle: Foundations of Empowerment
Monday 9:00am - 12:00pm
This course is designed for shooters who want to refresh and refine their rifle skills, as well as newer rifle shooters looking to build a strong foundation in rifle marksmanship and firearm handling. Students will focus on proper rifle setup, mounting and presentation, sight alignment and sight picture, recoil management, target transitions, and marksmanship fundamentals. Through structured drills and guided range exercises, participants will develop the skills needed to improve speed, accuracy, and confidence while maximizing the performance and capabilities of their rifle platform.
PCC: Foundations of Strength

This course is designed for shooters who want to refresh and refine their Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) skills, as well as newer PCC users looking to build a strong foundation in carbine marksmanship and firearm handling. Students will focus on proper PCC setup, mounting and presentation, sight alignment and sight picture, recoil management, target transitions, and marksmanship fundamentals. Through structured drills and guided range exercises, participants will develop the skills needed to improve speed, accuracy, and confidence while maximizing the performance and versatility of the pistol caliber carbine platform.

Whether refining existing skills or building on a solid foundation, students will focus on grip, presentation, recoil management, sight alignment, trigger control, target transitions, and marksmanship fundamentals. Through structured drills and guided range exercises, participants will develop the skills necessary to improve speed, accuracy, consistency, and confidence while performing under realistic shooting conditions.

Tuesday 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Build confidence and capability with your rifle at extended distances in this course designed to develop a deeper understanding of marksmanship fundamentals beyond close-range engagements. Students will learn how to apply proper shooting techniques, utilize their optic effectively, and understand the factors that influence accuracy at distance. Through structured drills and guided range exercises, participants will refine trigger control, breathing, body position, and target engagement techniques while shooting out to 200 yards.
