The timing of this exclusive product release couldn't be more significant as the United States Navy marks a monumental milestone: the 250th birthday of the U.S. Navy. The U.S. Navy traces its official roots back to October 13, 1775, when the Continental Congress authorized the outfitting of two armed vessels to interdict British commerce. The teak deck of a battleship like the USS New Jersey represents decades of dedication, sacrifice, and global service. By repurposing this reclaimed wood into a modern and functional piece of art, SIG SAUER is offering a powerful, tangible connection to the men and women who served aboard "The Big J."
