Subcompact

Subcompact

Generally, the term subcompact refers to the size of a handgun. Subcompact handguns are typically constructed with barrel lengths between 3 and 3.5 inches, and their grips are shorter than standard compact/full-size pistols. This is one of the most popular classes of concealed carry firearms because it has an easily concealable frame with a higher magazine capacity than micro-compact or “pocket” pistols.
