SHOT Show, the annual trade show for the shooting, hunting and firearms industry in Las Vegas, Nevada, is once again in the books. This year was an overwhelming success on many levels. We kicked-off the SIG SHOT Show experience with SIG Range Day at Clark County Shooting Complex. SIG Range Day is one of the leading industry events where guests are invited to test the full-spectrum of SIG products across all divisions, and interact with our elite SIG SAUER Academy instructors and product managers.
SIG Range Day welcomed celebrity guests including Mark “Oz” Geist co-author of 13 Hours: the Secret Soldier of Benghazi, Sergeant Major (retired) Kyle Lamb who served for 21 years in the United States Army (as well as in the battle made famous by the movie "Black Hawk Down" in Mogadishu, Somalia), bestselling novelist and author of The Terminal List Jack Carr, former Navy Seal and CEO of Bottle Breacher Eli Crane, and WWE star Mark Calaway, a.k.a. "The Undertaker." Attendees were entertained by our Tactical Showcase which opened with a parachute insertion and live-fire demo against robotic targets. The event closed with a high-speed mobility exercise demonstrating our new lightweight machine gun, the SIG SLMAG. In addition, in a blur of gunfire, Team SIG shooters Daniel Horner, Max Michel and Lena Miculek set a new NRA Team Speed Shooting World Record of 4.42 seconds.
At this year’s SHOT Show we unveiled our new, open concept booth design to better display our products and enhance attendee interaction with our experts. Far and away, SIG had the busiest and most trafficked booth. This year, we unveiled several exciting new products including the P320 XCOMPACT, the KILO3000BDX rangefinding binoculars, the MPX Copperhead, the MOD-X9 and 45 modular suppressor, and the Rattler Canebrake, among many others.
