Match #1: SHOOT SIG
Whether you’re new to shooting competitions or an experienced competitor, come out and SHOOT SIG with us at the Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club, February 10-11, 2023! You’ll enjoy 3 approachable stages that can be completed with less than 100 rounds and in under an hour, all for $45. Compete again in the same or another division for a discounted match fee of $25. Bring any pistol or pistol caliber carbine (PCC) or use one of our SIG pistols or MPX’s for an additional fee.
The match will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and as a bonus our world class Corporate Trainers will be on site with a sampling of our most popular firearms that you can try at no additional cost. Need to have someone look at your SIG firearm? No problem, we’ll have a certified SIG Armorer on site to answer your questions and ensure you are ready to SHOOT SIG! Many people concealed carry daily, especially with the development of improved carry gun technology. What better way to put these improved CCW pistols to the test than to push them to their limits against fellow competitors. The EDC Championship will combine the speed, accuracy, and stage designs of practical shooting with today’s most popular carry guns while using the simplified rules and scoring of PCSL.
Our goal is to provide a major match experience at around a local match price. These EDC competitions have been very popular at the SIG SAUER Academy in New Hampshire, and we’re excited to bring the fun down to Florida! Bring your everyday carry setup – the gear you never leave the house without – and leave the rest to us! No need for specialized competition gear; we've crafted the event with your EDC setup in mind. We're proud to introduce a groundbreaking ruleset for our EDC matches! Embrace the thrill as ALL BRANDS OF PISTOLS ARE WELCOME TO COMPETE! Our divisions are designed around two different sizes of boxes, ensuring a fair playing field for all. Whether your firearm fits in the smaller P365XL box or the larger P229 Compact box, you're good to go! Just meet the weight limit, and you're set.
Competition Details:
★ 10 stages of dynamic practical shooting stages shot in a one-day format on either Saturday or Sunday. Think PCSL or USPSA freestyle stages, just with your carry gun.
★ Dedicated match staff who compete prior to the main match.
★ Limited to 24 required rounds per stage, accommodating smaller carry guns
★ All stages shot from concealment: use of your actual carry gear!
★ Top finishers in each division receive awards mailed to them
