P385-COMPACT

The P385-COMPACT delivers the performance, accuracy, and innovation of the P385 platform in its most compact configuration. Featuring a compact, interchangeable MagStrap component grip module and 4" precision barrel, the P385-COMPACT combines everyday carry convenience with the control and shootability expected from a full-featured SIG SAUER pistol.

The SIG Recoil Dampening System (SRDS) and extremely low bore axis work together to reduce felt recoil and muzzle movement, creating a softer, flatter shooting experience with faster sight recovery.

At the center of the P385 is an all-new modular Fire Control Unit, developed specifically for the P385 platform and featuring a patent pending Trigger Block design that provides a redundant drop safety mechanism while maintaining a flush trigger face. The Trigger Block moves with the trigger, making it almost unnoticeable to the shooter during normal operation. Unlike a traditional tabbed trigger that protrudes from the trigger face and can create a different feel, the Trigger Block gave SIG SAUER the opportunity to design a unique new trigger system without compromising the performance of the trigger. Combined with the compact interchangeable MagStrap component grip system, ReActive grip texture, fully ambidextrous controls, and SIG-LOC PRO optic-ready slide, the P385 Compact delivers the adaptability and capability of the P385 platform in its smallest package.

This firearm is available both with or without a manual safety. A manual safety – when engaged – is designed to mechanically prevent the firearm from discharging when the trigger is pressed, either intentionally or unintentionally. You should consider whether a manual safety on a handgun is right for you based on your experience level and intended use, keeping in mind best practices for safe firearms handling. It is possible for the trigger to be unintentionally pressed even under normal handling circumstances.

A manual safety is designed to augment, not replace, safe firearm handling practices. You are responsible to protect against unintentional trigger movement while carrying any firearm. Even if you elect to purchase a pistol equipped with a manual safety, you must ensure that the trigger is not contacted in any circumstance other than when you intend to fire the pistol, particularly if you elect to carry your pistol with a round in the chamber.   If you have a round in the chamber and the trigger is pressed to the rear, the pistol will fire, absent an engaged manual safety.
