The M400-TREAD features a free-floating M-LOK enhanced handguard that is lightweight yet rigid for extreme control and ease of mounting accessories such as lights and handstops. The lower receiver has an ambidextrous safety for right or left-handed operation and includes an integrated QD mount for easy sling attachment. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the M400-TREAD has a 16” stainless steel barrel offering extreme durability and corrosion resistance while improving accuracy. The barrel is also fitted with a 3-prong flash hider and has an extremely versatile 1:8 twist rate. The M400-TREAD also has a mid-length gas system offering smoother operation and reduced recoil. The M400-TREAD V2 extends the legacy of one of SIG SAUER’s most popular modern sporting rifles, bringing upgraded features directly inspired by user feedback. Built to raise the bar on performance and value, the V2 models feature an enhanced free-floating handguard for improved control and accessory mounting, along with the crisp SIG Matchlite 2-stage trigger for cleaner breaks and better accuracy.
Each of the M400-TREAD V2 models retains original design features, including a 16” stainless steel barrel along with a reliable mid-length gas system for smooth operation and reduced recoil. Additional standard features include an ambidextrous safety and magazine release, plus integrated QD mounts on the lower receiver.
The stainless-steel barrel on the M400-TREAD V2 is fitted with a 3-prong flash hider and has a versatile 1:8 twist rate. For personal adjustments and a comfortable fit, the TREAD V2 comes equipped with a MAGPUL SL-K telescoping stock.
