With a streamlined redesign to the housing and controls, the ROMEO5 GEN II ELITE improves the user interface with recessed windage and elevation dials while maintaining the quickest access to zero adjustments.
When compared to the original ROMEO5 ELITE, the ROMEO5 GEN II ELITE features two additional daytime brightness settings while maintaining two dedicated NV settings to allow for more articulate reticle tuning in all environments. SIG’s new Quad Ballistic Circle Dot 2.0 Reticle provides a 1MOA center dot for surgical shot placement on high focus targets, with 0.7 MOA holdover dots to increase first and second round extended range impacts.
Transitioning to a redesigned I-Beam mount for increased visibility that provides greater situational awareness, the ROMEO5 GEN II ELITE is available in either a 1.41” Absolute Co-Witness Mount to leverage back up iron sights, or a 1.93” Tall Mount height that allows for heads-up posture to improve dynamic movement.

Quad Reticle
Quad Reticle technology allows the user to toggle between four different selectable reticle options. With the Ballistic Circle Dot reticle, users can pick between a 2 MOA dot, a 2 MOA dot with ballistic holds, a 2 MOA/65 MOA Circle Dot or a 2 MOA/65 MOA Circle Dot with ballistic holds. These ballistic holdover points subtend for the 5.56 NATO and 7.62x51mm NATO cartridges. Meanwhile, the Circle Plex quad reticle offers similar aiming options, but the 2 MOA dot is swapped for a 1 MOA central aiming feature in a plex-type reticle for more precise mid- to long-range shooting.
